Blue Water Beachfront Hotel & Waterpark

Disclaimer pt.1: Y’all might not realize, but this is a 3-star hotel—so it’s not the Hilton, you know. That being said, I enjoyed my stay. The space and amenities were good, and I felt the price I paid was a great deal. The room was nice, and everything was comfortable and maintained. I understand it’s a 3-star property, but paying a bit more attention to cleaning details could make it even better. The best part? This was the only place I saw on the strip that didn’t have a review claiming roaches (as of October 2025), which is a huge win in my book. As for the staff, my evening check-in was handled by a male employee whose customer service skills were 'limited' to put it kindly, but the lady I checked out with was fantastic—friendly, joyful, and very professional. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for good value, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere. Disclaimer pt.2: Honestly, my rating would be a 4/5, but I’m giving 5 stars to help raise their current 2.9 rating.

We are completely happy with our Stay we came up north for our honeymoon ! Hotel was clean. The maid came in and changed our sheets and cleaned toke trash out. I seen someone comment once the lobby closed the key card stop working ? We were in and out of our hotel all ours never had a problem and the lastest we came back was 11pm. The pool and water park we're available at our hotel but we were given options to go to the other hotels. We loved that the afford that. There was also options for doing a fire on the beach. The manger helped us get our Ferry Tickets at the lobby desk had a print out of all options for Mackinac Island so we could get discounts. Arnold Mackinac Island ferry is walking distant ! The manger also gave us some amazing ideas for breakfast lunch and dinner spots and we weren't disappointed with any of the suggestions. The view was beautiful too! Jacuzzi was clean and good condition ! There was a couple little flaws with our room but normal wear and tear stuff ! If we make it back up definitely would stay again.

Wife and I took a spontaneous trip to Mackinaw mi. We searched a few hotels looking for a room , nice view, and good price. We ended up at the "blue water hotel". Very pleased we did. We stayed for 3 nights . Very nice staff ( Trish) was great. She gave us a nice newly renovated room with a great view . She also gave us a great price. We were so pleased . We are excited to be heading back there next summer again ! TIM ..

Loved our rooms…beautiful view of the beach and water. Only bad thing… no elevator and when you’re a girl traveling with 4 pairs of shoes and 10 outfits for a weekend () it’s kinda hard huffing it to the 3rd floor. Other than that… we had a beautiful balcony, sat on the beach with a fire… lounged around the water the next day…Trish helped find my daughter’s journal which really meant a lot. Will definitely be back!

I stayed at Blue Water last week, and it was everything I wanted in a beachfront getaway. The location could not be more perfect! you walk right out of the lobby , through the lot and onto soft sand with gorgeous views. My room was spacious, spotless, and had a balcony where I could watch the sunrise every morning. The staff went above and beyond; everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. I especially appreciated how quickly they responded to requests and how genuine their hospitality felt. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, beautiful views, and top-notch service, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience here for our honeymoon! The rooms have been newly renovated and they were wonderful! Our view of the beach from the balcony was beautiful! The beach on the property has a beach where we were welcome to have a bonfire and the pool was perfect! The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! We got discounted tickets for the ferry and the butterfly house as well! 10/10 would come back again!
